ME: [Jumps, startled from sleep.]
DOG: Bark! Bark! Bark!
ME: Settle down. It’s just thunder.
[BOOM!]
DOG: Bark! Bark! Bark!
ME: Shhhh. It’s just thunder.
[BOOM!]
DOG: Bark! Bark! Bark!
ME: It’s okay go back to sleep
DOG: [Plops down on top of me staring out the window.]
ME: Thank you for being such a good guard dog and protecting me from nature.
DOG: You are welcome,
ME and DOG: [Go back to sleep.]
