ME:  What are you doing out there?

DOG:  Digging a hole.

ME:  Are you looking for something?

DOG:  No.

ME:  Are you burying something?

DOG:  No.

ME:  Then why are you digging a hole?

DOG:  Just because. I like holes.

ME:  You know that someone is going to put their foot in there, trip, and twist their ankle, don’t you?

DOG: They should be more careful where they walk, then.
